Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 400 g maple syrup
- 160 g tomato ketchup
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 tsp mustard, medium or hot
- 6 tbsp white wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar bianco
- Pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic. Simmer all ingredients together for about 15 minutes. Stir occasionally. Let cool slightly and puree with a hand blender. Store in a lidded jar in the refrigerator for at least 4 weeks (if it lasts that long). We have this sauce on the table at every barbecue.
