Barbecue sauce with maple syrup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard, medium or hot, to taste
  • some salt and pepper
  • some curry powder
  • some sweet paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

delicious dip for the barbecue season, suitable for shrimp and white meat

Mix all liquid ingredients well to combine with the oil and create a smooth sauce. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and curry powder. It tastes great as a barbecue sauce, but also as a marinade for meat or seafood.
