One of the main problems in growing barley grass is the climate and soil conditions in Germany. Due to certain environmental factors, the barley grass will inevitably contain pollutants that can have health consequences. It has also been proven that barley grass grown in Germany contains little or no nutrients and the function of the grass is therefore lost. It is, therefore, possible to grow barley grass yourself, but it is not recommended due to the quality of the end product.

Instead, barley grass products are advertised in drugstores and on online platforms and classified as of average quality. It is recommended to pay attention to the organic seal of approval in order to skilfully avoid unwanted ingredients.
