Barley Soup
The perfect barley soup recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 750 g Chicken legs
- 1 bunch Soup vegetables
- 125 g Barley pearl barley
- 1 bunch Maggi herb
- Wash the chicken legs and soup vegetables. Peel the soup vegetables and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Then put the soup vegetables and the legs in a saucepan with water and salt. Let the whole thing simmer on a low flame for about 30 minutes.
- When the legs are done (take them out of the pot) and then loosen the meat from the bone and cut into bite-sized pieces. Put the meat back in the soup and the pearl barley. Simmer again on a low flame for 20-30 minutes. Now add the Maggi herb and let it steep.
