Basic dough for muffins

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g wheat flour type 405 or 550
  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 g margarine
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 shot of milk, small shot

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (top/bottom heat). Line the muffin tin with paper baking cups. Mix all ingredients one after the other (using a mixer or electric mixer) until you have a nice, creamy batter. Spread the batter evenly into the muffin tin. Bake the muffins in the hot oven for about 20-25 minutes. Makes 24 muffins. Tips: I usually add a small bottle of lemon or vanilla flavoring, small Smarties, or chocolate shavings. Dried cranberries also taste good. You can also add 1 1/2 teaspoons of batter to the muffin tins, then 1 teaspoon of Nutella or jam on top, and finally more batter. The muffin tins should not be more than 2/3 full.
