Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 tsp Brown sugar
- 0,5 tsp Mustard seeds
- 500 g Ground beef
- 1 bunch Basil
- 1 Egg yolk
- Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Tomatoes, chopped
- 4 Spring onions, cut into rings
- 1 ball Mozzarella, cut into pieces
- 4 Rolls, cut open, toasted
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Bring the vinegar, sugar and mustard seeds to the boil in a small saucepan and simmer for 1 minute, remove from the heat and allow to cool.
- Mix the mince, basil and egg yolks together and season well with salt and pepper. 4 form burgers out of them.
- Heat 1 tablespoons of oil in a pan and fry the burgers for about 3 minutes on each side until they are browned but still pink on the inside.
- Mix the tomatoes and spring onions with the vinegar. Place the burgers in the buns, pour the mozzarella and tomato mixture over them and serve.
