Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 120 ml olive oil
- 1 tbsp pine nuts
- 1 tbsp Parmesan, grated
- 40 g basil
- 20 g parsley
- ½ garlic clove(s), finely chopped
- 2 drops of Tabasco
- Salt and pepper from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Pesto Genovese
Wash the basil and parsley leaves and pat them dry with kitchen paper. Blend them with the olive oil, pine nuts, and garlic in a blender or food processor until smooth. Season the pesto with salt, pepper, Tabasco, and grated Parmesan cheese.
