Basil Tomato Chili Gnocchi

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g gnocchi
  • 250 g tomatoes, small
  • 20 leaves of fresh basil
  • 50 g pine nuts
  • 2 tbsp butter, light
  • 50 g Grana Padano, fresh
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Bring lightly salted water to a large pot and bring to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Then drain in a sieve. Wash the tomatoes, remove the stems, and halve the tomatoes. Wash the chili pepper and chop into small pieces. Wash the basil leaves and trim if necessary. Heat the butter in a non-stick pan. Add the pine nuts and toast briefly. Now add the gnocchi. Also add the chili pieces. Season with salt and pepper, if desired. Fold in the tomatoes and basil. Serve on plates and grate the Grana Padano over them.
