Bavarian Malt Recovery Tea

The perfect bavarian malt recovery tea recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Supplement instead of sugar:

  • 5 tsp Licorice, grated
  • 5 tsp Dried elderberries
  • 3 tsp Blackberry leaves
  • 2 tsp Caraway seeds
  • 2 tsp Peppermint leaves
  • 1 tsp Elderflower
  • 2 Pieces per cup Block malt

Tea blend:

  1. The ingredients should be dry, otherwise spread out on a baking sheet if necessary, wrapped with baking paper and briefly dry the mixture at approx. 50 ° C. Keep everything together in a tea container with a lid until use.

Infusion:

  1. First bring the water to the boil and let it cool down immediately, then add approx. 1 teaspoon of tea mixture in the fillable tea bag with the hot tea water for each cup. The tea is served in normal teacups for enjoyment.

Addendum:

  1. Black fermented tea has the property of immediately releasing undesirable bitter substances when boiling hot water is poured over it. To prevent this from happening, the brewed tea water is allowed to cool for about 1 minute and the tea only develops its tasty aromatic substances.

Addition:

  1. Instead of using sugar, sweeten with 2 pieces of block malt per teacup.
