Bavarian Sausage-salad

The perfect bavarian sausage-salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Emmental cheese
  • 75 g Gherkins
  • 350 g Meat sausage
  • 250 g Peeled onions
  • For the salad dressing:
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • Salt, freshly ground pepper
  • Some sugar
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 6 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp Chive rolls
  1. Cut the cheese into strips, the pickles into slices. Skin meat sausage, possibly halve and cut into slices.
  1. Cut the onions into rings, put them in boiling water, boil for 2 minutes and place on a sieve, drain well.
  1. For the salad dressing, stir together the vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and mustard. Stir in the oil.
  1. Mix the salad ingredients with the sauce.
  1. Serve the sausage salad sprinkled with chives.
