Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 ml cola
  • 4 cl whiskey
  • 300 ml tomato ketchup
  • 30 ml apple cider vinegar
  • 20 ml Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 chili pepper(s), e.g. B. Jalapeño
  • 2 g liquid smoke

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Heat the cola and whiskey in a saucepan and reduce until a thick syrup forms. Dice the chili pepper/jalapeño pepper (depending on your desired spice level) with seeds and add it along with the tomato ketchup, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke. Bring everything to a boil.
