Bean and pepper goulash from the slow cooker

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 200 g green beans
  • 1 can tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp paprika paste
  • some paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • 400 g pork goulash
  • 200 ml red wine
  • 200 ml water or broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 15 minutes

Dice or chop the vegetables. First, brown the meat. Set it aside. Then, sauté the onions and garlic in oil. Add the paprika and pulp and roast. Then deglaze with wine and stock. Now add the vegetables, meat, and canned tomatoes. Add more liquid if needed. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Let it simmer in the slow cooker for 5-6 hours and season to taste.
