Bean Bread (bread Made from Beans)
The perfect bean bread (bread made from beans) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Beans white
- 8 Eggs
- 4 tsp Baking powder
- 4 tbsp Psyllium husks
- 4 tbsp Almond flour
- 1 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp Italian herbs
- Salt
- Pepper
- Nutmeg
Basic principle:
- Beans (white or kidney beans) are mixed with eggs and raising agent so that a bread-like consistency is achieved through the baking process. Then you can of course season, flavor and vary the bread as you like. The result is a bread substitute that is ‘slow carb’, rich in protein, filling, gluten-free (omit grains in this case), healthy and tasty. Recipe for Italian Bean Bread with Garlic:
- Grease the sides of a baking pan and dust with the almond flour. A piece of parchment paper, cut to size, should be laid out on the floor.
- Process the ingredients with a hand blender or a stand mixer into an even dough. Pour into the form and let it steep for half an hour.
- Bake everything at 180 ° C for 25 to 30 minutes. Make a stick test, if the dough still sticks, bake for another 5 minutes.
- Use a knife to carefully loosen the edge of the baking pan, turning it gently.
- After cooling, cut open and, this is important, since the bread is moist: toast the slices – delicious!
