Bean casserole with minced meat

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g beans (white or red)
  • 400 g potatoes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 g sheep’s cheese
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 330 ml milk
  • nutmeg
  • Herbs of Provence
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Boil potatoes in salted water for about 20 minutes. Heat oil in a pan, fry minced meat until crumbly, dice onions, crush garlic cloves, and add both to the minced meat. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Slice potatoes. Place minced meat in a casserole dish, cover with potato slices, and top with beans. Dice feta cheese. Mix cream cheese with milk until smooth, add feta cheese, and season with nutmeg and Provençal herbs. Pour the cheese mixture over the casserole and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 15-20 minutes.
