Bud Spencer style

Dice the bacon and Cabanossi and fry them vigorously in hot oil. After a few minutes, add the chopped onion and finely chopped garlic and sauté. Add the tomato paste and fry, then deglaze with a generous splash of beef broth and reduce again. Finely chop the tomatoes and add them along with the remaining beef broth and the drained beans. Stir in the mustard and spices, and season to taste with hot paprika, chili, Worcestershire sauce, beer, etc. Reduce to your liking. I serve it with baguette.
