Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Also suitable for pan-fried dishes such as steaks, sausages, cutlets, etc.
The fat is rendered, and the cleaned vegetables are added layer by layer. First the beans, then the sliced onions, and then the sliced tomatoes on top. The vegetables are seasoned, the water is added, and everything is cooked until tender. The Mett (the sausage cut from the casing) is formed into balls and placed on the vegetables 15-20 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Finally, the broth is seasoned again. These vegetables are best cooked in a glass saucepan. The vegetables look best when they are not mixed together. The preparation and cooking time depend on whether I use fresh or canned beans. Cooking time for fresh beans is approximately 40 minutes.
