Beans with tomatoes and sage

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g beans (bush beans)
  • Salt and pepper, freshly ground
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp sage, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash and de-string the beans, and cook in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes until al dente. Peel and quarter the tomatoes. Finely dice the onion. Melt the butter in a pan and fry the diced onion until golden brown. Add the beans and tomato quarters and toss briefly. Season with salt, pepper, and sage.
