Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 serving of dough (Hermann dough)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ cup(s) sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • ½ cup(s) butter, melted
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 200 g almonds, sliced
  • Fat for the baking tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the Hermann dough with eggs, flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, salt, and melted butter by hand until smooth, then spread it onto a well-greased baking sheet. For the topping, melt the butter, sugar, honey, and milk in a saucepan. Mix in the almonds and let everything cool. Spread the topping onto the dough and bake the cake for about 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat). Let it cool completely.
