Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 100 g butter
- 240 g sugar
- 8 tbsp cream
- 4 eggs
- 200 g flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 130 g butter
- 200 g sugar
- 10 tbsp cream
- 200 g almonds, sliced
- possibly butter for the tray
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Beat the first four ingredients with a mixer until fluffy. Then combine the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Transfer the batter to a buttered or parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes on the middle rack. Meanwhile, heat the remaining butter with the sugar and cream in a saucepan. Once the sugar has dissolved, stir in the sliced almonds and bring to a boil. Spread the mixture over the cake and bake for another 15 minutes.
