Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter
  • 240 g sugar
  • 8 tbsp cream
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 130 g butter
  • 200 g sugar
  • 10 tbsp cream
  • 200 g almonds, sliced
  • possibly butter for the tray

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Beat the first four ingredients with a mixer until fluffy. Then combine the flour with the baking powder and stir in. Transfer the batter to a buttered or parchment-lined baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 15 minutes on the middle rack. Meanwhile, heat the remaining butter with the sugar and cream in a saucepan. Once the sugar has dissolved, stir in the sliced ​​almonds and bring to a boil. Spread the mixture over the cake and bake for another 15 minutes.
