Beef Goulash for 12 People
The perfect beef goulash for 12 people recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2,2 kg Beef goulash
- 1 kg Onions
- 1 kg Paprika (red, yellow and green)
- 4 Garlic cloves
- 1 Red chilli pepper
- 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
- Tomato paste
- 2 tbsp Sweet paprika
- 1 tbsp Mild curry powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 liter Beef broth (5 tsp instant)
- 2 tbsp Sweet soy sauce
- 1 Cooking cream 200 g
- Peel and dice the onions. Clean / core the peppers, wash and cut into small diamonds. Peel and finely dice the garlic cloves. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and finely dice. Heat sunflower oil (4 tbsp) in a large roasting pan, add beef goulash and fry. Stir it every now and then. Add the garlic clove cubes, chilli pepper cubes and onion cubes and sauté / stir fry. Finally fold in the peppers and season with tomato paste (4 tbsp), sweet paprika (2 tbsp), mild curry powder (1 tbsp) and salt (1 tbsp). Briefly sauté / stir-fry everything and deglaze / pour on half of the beef broth. Simmer / cook with the lid closed for approx. 2 hours. Every now and then pour in the rest of the beef broth. Finally season with sweet soy sauce (2 tbsp) and refine with the cooking cream (200 g). Serve beef goulash with potatoes or dumplings or rice or noodles or spaetzle.
Tip:
- The beef goulash is also suitable for freezing in advance.
