Box Cake Frankfurter Style
The perfect box cake frankfurter style recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Batter
- 300 Flour
- 125 g Margarine
- 125 g Sugar
- 100 ml Milk
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 3 Pc. Eggs
butter cream
- 250 g Butter
- 100 g Powdered sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 2 El Strawberry Jam
Decoration
- 100 g Hazelnut brittle
- For the batter, beat margarine and sugar until frothy, stir in the eggs one by one, mix in flour and baking powder, stir in milk
- Fill a loaf pan lined with baking paper and bake at 160 degrees fan-assisted air for about 60 minutes – let cool down completely
- For the buttercream, stir the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and butter until frothy
- When the cake is completely cool, cut lengthways into 3 parts. Spread the jam on the 1st floor, 1/4 of the buttercream on top, 2nd Lay on the floor and do the same. Put the lid on and brush the cake with the rest of the cream. Possibly cool in between if the cream becomes too soft
- Finally, decorate with brittle and cream swabs.
