Mel’s Beef Goulash
The perfect mel’s beef goulash recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1,5 kg Beef goulash
- 4 size Onions
- 1 bottle Palatinate Dornfelder, dry
- 3 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 3 Teaspoon (level) Hot paprika powder
- Salt
- Pepper from the grinder
- Possibly beef broth
- Peel the onions and cut into large pieces
- Heat a saucepan with roasting fine (vegetable cream) or butter (on the highest level) and fry the onions in it
- add the meat and fry it well
- Now add the tomato paste and paprika powder.
- Gradually add the red wine so that it doesn’t stop boiling.
- Let the whole thing simmer on the lowest level for about 1.5 – 2 hours.
- At the end, season with salt and pepper, if necessary, grained beef broth, and you’re done.

- If you want, you can thicken the sauce, but this is actually not necessary …
