Beef Mashed Potato Pie

The perfect beef mashed potato pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Beef:

  • 500 g Boiled / fried beef
  • 300 g Onions
  • 80 g Butter
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 150 ml White wine dry
  • 200 ml Meatsoup
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 pinch Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 pinch Garlic pepper from my KB
  • 1 pinch Telly cherry pepper

Mashed potatoes:

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 1 tsp Seasoned salt from my KB
  • 1 tsp Garlic pepper from my KB
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  • Telly cherry pepper

Extra:

  • 200 g Grated Emmental
  1. Cut the meat into thin strips. Peel the onions and cut into fine rings. Fry the onions in a pan with 80g butter until they turn color. Then dust with flour and fry for another 5 minutes. Peel 1kg potatoes, roughly cut and cook!

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees!

  1. Deglaze the onion sauce with the wine, vinegar and meat stock and bring to the boil. Season to taste with seasoned salt, garlic pepper and pepper. Spread the meat in the baking dish and pour the sauce over it. Mix well!
  2. Then coarsely mash the potatoes with the cream and milk and season with seasoned salt, garlic pepper, nutmeg and pepper. Spread on the beef and sprinkle with cheese!
  3. Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes! Green salad goes well with it.
