Beef Roulades with Serrano Ham

The perfect beef roulades with serrano ham recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 4 Beef roulades
  • 4 tsp Lion mustard
  • Salt
  • Pepper from the grinder
  • 1 Leek
  • 0,5 Red onion, diced
  • 8 Serrano ham slices
  • 4 Gherkins
  • 2 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 Carrot
  • Celery
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • Flour
  1. Brush the meat with mustard, season. Top with Serrano ham, leek rings, onion cubes and cucumber. Roll up, get stuck.
  1. Sear the roulades in oil on all sides.
  1. Add the carrot and celery pieces and the remaining leek, toast briefly. Stir in tomato paste, also briefly toast.
  1. Pour in the water, add the bay leaf and simmer for 1 ½ to 2 hours. Strain the sauce and thicken with a little flour
