Beef strips with garlic

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g beef, for cooking
  • 10 cloves garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 250 ml white wine
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 2 pointed peppers, red
  • some butter
  • salt and pepper
  • Oregano, fresh or dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with vegetables and rice

Peel and roughly chop the garlic. Peel the onion and dice large pieces. Thinly slice the beef and sear it in olive oil. Just before the end of the cooking time, add the onion and garlic. Sauté briefly, but not for too long, or the garlic will burn. Deglaze with wine, season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 30 minutes. Thicken with a sauce thickener if desired. Prepare the vegetables: Slice the spring onions into rings. Dice the pointed peppers. Sauté everything in butter until al dente. Add the oregano and season with salt and pepper to taste.
