Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 m.-large beetroot
- 1 m.-large apple, aromatic
- 2 tbsp yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp, sautéed horseradish, freshly grated
- n. B. Nuts, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
A refreshing raw food for the winter
Peel the raw beetroot and grate it not too finely with the unpeeled apple. Mix with the remaining ingredients. Sprinkle some chopped nuts on top if desired. Tip: Buy fresh horseradish wrapped in foil and refreeze it in the foil after use. The horseradish will keep for weeks this way, and it’s also great for grating from frozen.
