Bell Pepper Bean Pot
The perfect bell pepper bean pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Red peppers
- 500 g Potatoes
- 1 Jar, 425 ml Kidney beans
- 1 Jar, 425 ml White beans
- 2 Shallots
- 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
- 800 ml Vegetable broth
- 0,5 tsp Dried marjoram
- Salt pepper
- Clean, core, wash and dice the peppers. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into cubes. Drain the beans on a sieve, wash and drain. Peel and finely dice the shallots.
- Heat the oil in a large saucepan, sauté the shallots in it. Add paprika and potatoes and sauté. Pour in the broth, add the marjoram and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Add beans to the soup, heat. Season the stew with salt and pepper and serve.
- Serve sprinkled with fresh marjoram.
- Fresh farmhouse bread tastes good with it.
