Bell Pepper Bean Pot

The perfect bell pepper bean pot recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 Red peppers
  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 Jar, 425 ml Kidney beans
  • 1 Jar, 425 ml White beans
  • 2 Shallots
  • 2 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 800 ml Vegetable broth
  • 0,5 tsp Dried marjoram
  • Salt pepper
  1. Clean, core, wash and dice the peppers. Peel, wash and cut the potatoes into cubes. Drain the beans on a sieve, wash and drain. Peel and finely dice the shallots.
  2. Heat the oil in a large saucepan, sauté the shallots in it. Add paprika and potatoes and sauté. Pour in the broth, add the marjoram and cook for about 15 minutes.
  3. Add beans to the soup, heat. Season the stew with salt and pepper and serve.
  4. Serve sprinkled with fresh marjoram.
  5. Fresh farmhouse bread tastes good with it.
