Real Berlin fried potatoes according to grandma’s recipe

Melt the margarine. Add the onions and bacon and fry (careful not to let them burn). Peel the potatoes, halve them, and cut them into small slices. Add them to the pan with the bacon and onions and fry for about 30 minutes over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, and—if desired—paprika. Serve hot. Tip: If you like your fried potatoes extra crispy, toss the raw potatoes in flour in a bowl before frying and then add them to the pan.
