Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 ml rosé wine
  • 3 cl elderflower syrup
  • 2 strawberries, quartered
  • 2 mint leaves
  • 2 ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 2 minutes

A fresh, fruity wine cocktail for warm summer days

Pour the elderflower syrup into a tall glass. Carefully pour the chilled rosé wine on top, ensuring it doesn’t mix with the elderflower syrup, creating two layers. Add the strawberry quarters, ice cubes, and mint, and serve with a straw. The deeper the color of the rosé, the greater the color contrast with the elderflower syrup. Rosé wines from Spain or the South of France are particularly suitable. While drinking, you can mix the wine and syrup with the straw. This refreshing summery wine drink was created by my husband, whose name it also bears, and is currently a hit on our patio.
