Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 300 g berries (e.g. raspberries, strawberries, …), frozen, thawed or fresh
- 2 tbsp sugar, fine
- 2 tbsp water, hot
- 1 tbsp lime juice or lemon juice
- some schnapps (fruit brandy, e.g. cherry brandy)
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes
French fruit sauce, fine with desserts
Combine the citrus juice and hot water. Dissolve the sugar in it. Puree the berries with the sugar mixture and strain through a sieve. Season to taste with fruit brandy.
