Berry dream meets superfood

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 160 g blueberries or blackberries or mixed, frozen
  • 1 orange(s)
  • 250 g quark or firmer yoghurt, or mixed
  • 1 handful of cranberries, dried
  • 1 vanilla pod(s) or vanilla powder from the mill
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed, ground
  • 1 tbsp raw cane sugar

tastes much better than any fruit yogurt from the supermarket and is unbeatably healthy

Thaw the berries. Mix with vanilla, sugar, flaxseed, and cranberries and mash with a hand blender. If you like, you can also puree the mixture; this will give you a different consistency. Layer the berry mixture alternately with quark or yogurt, or a mixture of both, in two glasses. You can mix the berries into the quark and stir gently. Squeeze the orange and pour the juice into the tops of the glasses. I personally prefer low-fat quark, as it is particularly firm and gives a nice consistency. If you prefer something more liquid, you can also use yogurt.
