Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of dry yeast
  • some olive oil
  • 1 cup(s) water, warm
  • 1 pinch of salt

The best thing is often the simplest, and this one-sheet pizza dough is no exception. Mix the flour, salt, and yeast well in a bowl. Add all the water and knead… (I’ve had the best experience with stand mixers, even though they say yeast likes the warmth of your hands). The dough will most likely be a little dry while kneading. Now add olive oil until you have a smooth, slightly moist dough. Knead for as long as you can, at least 5 minutes, until the dough is sticky. Then sprinkle some flour on the surface and let it rise for 20 minutes. Once it’s ready, knead again with floury hands (it’s okay if it’s slightly moist).
