Bibi's potato gratin

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 50 ml cream
  • 150 ml milk
  • 50 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Thyme, dried or fresh
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Combine the cream and milk and season. If using fresh thyme, pick off the leaves and add them to the milk mixture. Simply crush the dried thyme in a mortar and pestle. Place the potatoes in a greased baking dish and pour the liquid over them. Sprinkle with grated cheese and place in the oven. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C for approximately 40-45 minutes. Serve immediately. Delicious with pan-fried dishes and especially great with lamb.
