Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 can giant beans, white
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • some salt and pepper
  • some paprika powder
  • some parsley, chopped, fresh or dried
  • possibly chili powder or cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

vegan, Maltese bean spread

Drain the beans and puree them with the remaining ingredients. Season to taste and add more herbs if desired. Bigilla is perfect as a spread, dip, or salad.
