Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g processed cheese (smoked processed cheese with chili)
  • 4 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

for green borscht or for a barbecue, traditional Ukrainian cuisine

Grate the smoked cheese and eggs on a fine grater. Mix the two together loosely. Press the garlic cloves into the mayonnaise and mix. Using 2 tablespoons of the mixture, form dumplings, decorate, and serve. You can also serve the dumplings directly on toasted baguette slices. Bilochka with bread is traditionally served with Ukrainian green borscht, but it’s also great for a barbecue. An even more elegant version of bilochka is Ukrainian hrinky.
