Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g pasta, e.g. spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 15 g butter
- 2 m.-sized onion(s)
- 100 g lean bacon
- 300 g sour cream
- 1 tsp nutmeg, grated
- 1 tsp lemon zest, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
with onions, bacon, sour cream, nutmeg and lemon zest
For the pasta, fill a large pot with water and add the pasta (e.g. spaghetti, tagliatelle, fusilli) to the boiling water. Cooking time: 6 – 12 minutes, follow the package instructions! For the sauce, peel the onions and chop them into fine cubes. Either buy the bacon already cut into small cubes or cut it into small cubes yourself. Put the olive oil and butter in a second small pot and heat. Let the onions become translucent. Then add the bacon and leave in the pot for about 1 – 2 minutes, stirring. Then add the sour cream, grated lemon zest and nutmeg. Either serve the pasta on the plates and then pour the sauce over it, or drain the pasta and return it to the large pot, pour the sauce over it, stir well and then serve it on the plates. Salt is not necessary because of the bacon. I also simply cook the pasta in water rather than salted water.
