Black and white chocolate mousse

Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g QimiQ
  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 150 g chocolate, dark
  • 140 ml milk
  • 250 ml whipped cream
  • possibly rum
  • possibly sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes

very easy and quick to do

Pour the QimiQ into a bowl and stir until smooth. Whip the whipped cream until stiff. Heat the white and dark chocolate in 70 ml each of milk and let it melt. Then let both mixtures cool. Mix the QimiQ and the stiffly whipped cream and divide into 2 bowls. Mix the white chocolate in one bowl with the QimiQ cream mix and the dark chocolate in the other. Now, in another bowl, first pour the dark chocolate mixture and then the white chocolate mixture. Use a fork to create a spiral pattern. Add a little more sugar or rum to taste. We didn’t need it, as I found it sweet enough. Refrigerate the mousse for at least 3 hours – but overnight is best. Scoop out 2 dumplings each and serve with a berry sauce, for example.
