Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 75 g sugar
  • 500 ml milk
  • 225 g whipped cream, cold
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp cherry brandy
  • 1 jar morello cherries
  • Chocolate shavings

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Mix the pudding powder with the sugar, then gradually stir in about 6 tablespoons of the cold milk. Bring the remaining milk to a boil, remove from the heat, and stir in the mixed pudding powder. Cook the pudding for about 1 minute longer. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to cool so that no skin forms on the pudding. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff, setting aside about 1/3 for garnishing. Stir the rest into the cooled pudding with the kirsch. Drain the cherries well, set a few cherries aside, divide the remaining cherries into dessert glasses, and drizzle with the cream. Fill the dessert with the remaining cherries and the stiffly whipped cream. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
