Black tea with ginger and milk

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tea bags, black
  • 2 slice(s) ginger root (or more, to taste)
  • Sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Indian tea

In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil with the ginger and sugar to taste and boil for 3-5 minutes. Add the tea bags to the pan and boil for another 5 minutes. Now add the milk and boil for another 5-10 minutes, being careful not to let it boil over. Stir the tea bags frequently. Pour through a sieve into the pot. Tastes great and is healthy! Indians enjoy it and drink it a lot.
