Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • ½ cup(s) water
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp black tea (Red Label Tea)
  • 1 cardamom pod(s), opened

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

simple Indian chai with cardamom

Combine the milk and water in a saucepan and heat. Add the sugar. After a few seconds, add the tea and cardamom pod. Bring everything to a boil a few times. Caution: the milk foams quickly. Pour through a sieve into a cup and serve.
