Blackberry and Apple Jam
The perfect blackberry and apple jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 gr Apple boskop
- 1 small bunch Fresh thyme
- 500 g Blackberries fresh
- 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
- Boil the apple cubes with thyme and 50 ml water until soft. Remove the thyme.
- Mash the blackberries with a fork, mix with the preserving sugar and applesauce, leave to stand overnight.
- The next day, bring the fruit mix to the boil and cook for 4-5 minutes while stirring. Fill 3 glasses with 200 ml content with the blackberry and apple jam. Shelf life approx. 6 months
