Blitz – Tomato Sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 can/n tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp broth, clear (powder)
  • basil
  • oregano
  • pepper
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, fry the diced onions and the very finely chopped garlic clove in hot oil until translucent. Add the tomato paste and tomato ketchup and mix well. Then add the diced canned tomatoes and continue frying over high heat. Add the tomato juice. Fill the can with water and add the water as well. Then reduce the mixture and season with the clear broth and spices. All kinds of pasta go well with this. My boyfriend likes a breaded schnitzel with it.
