Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 115 g butter
- 200 g brown sugar
- 1 large egg(s)
- 1 large egg(s), the yolk
- 150 g flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 85 g walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Place the butter and sugar in a small saucepan and melt over low heat. Simmer briefly, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved. Then remove from the heat, transfer to a bowl, and let stand for 10 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 20x20cm non-stick baking pan and line the bottom with baking paper. Then stir the egg and egg yolk into the butter/sugar mixture. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, sift them over the top, and stir in. Once everything is well combined, fold in the walnuts and pour into the prepared pan. Smooth the surface and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. The top should be golden brown and firm in the center when pressed. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes. Loosen the edges with a knife and turn out onto a wire rack. Peel off the baking paper and let cool completely. Later, cut into pieces of any size and serve.
