Blue Pirate Cupcakes
The perfect blue pirate cupcakes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 300 g Flour, (sifted)
- 300 g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Backin with saffron (sifted)
- 1 packet Aroma, (orange-back)
- 0,75 Cup Oil (preferably sunflower or rapeseed)
- 1 Cup Fanta or other orange lemonade
- Powdered sugar
- 1 packet White couverture
- 1 packet Cream cheese double cream setting
- 2 drops Butter-Vanilla flavor
- Blue food coloring, coconut sprinkles
- Beat the eggs, vanilla sugar, orange baking, sugar, oil and Fanta with a whisk until frothy. Gradually stir in the sifted flour and baking powder.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees (convection) (top and bottom heat 200 degrees). Fill muffin cases with a tablespoon of the mixture and put in the stove for 15-20 minutes. Then let it cool down.
- For the frosting: Heat the white couverture slowly in the microwave or water bath on a low setting until a creamy / homogeneous mass has formed (caution! Do not overheat otherwise the couverture will burn or falter) Let the couverture cool down to the extent that it always does is still creamy and does not set.
- Mix the cream cheese in a bowl to a creamy mass and gradually add the couverture (high setting with the whisk) Add the aroma and, if desired, stir in the powdered sugar until the desired consistency for the topping is reached.
- At the end, sprinkle the coconut flakes on top. And done = DI wish you a lot of fun cooking!
