Blueberry – Raspberry – Jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g blueberries
  • 250 g raspberries
  • 500 g gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • ½ lemon(s)
  • 5 cl whiskey

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Wash the blueberries and raspberries and drain well in a sieve. Halve the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds. Place the fruit in a saucepan and stir in the gelling sugar. Add the vanilla seeds to the mixture. Squeeze half a lemon and add the juice and whiskey. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly, and simmer gently for 4-5 minutes. Once the jam has set, pour it into the prepared jars, seal immediately, and let cool upside down under towels. The next day, label the jars, set aside 4 jars for storage, and eat the one that isn’t full straight away.
