Purée the blueberries and banana in a tall bowl with a hand blender. If the blueberries aren’t thawed, wait a bit until everything is at room temperature. Thanks to the ripe banana, the sauce doesn’t need any extra sugar. Since you’re serving the sauce with pancakes, waffles, or a dessert, everything will still be sweet enough.
