Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 125 ml milk
- 500 g flour
- ½ cube of yeast
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 egg(s)
- 250 g lard
- Jam, for filling
- powdered sugar
- vanilla powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes
Prepare a cold yeast dough from the listed ingredients: Dissolve the yeast in milk and salt and refrigerate for 3 hours. Then make the dough. Let it rest for about 2 hours. Roll out the dough to about 1 cm thick and cut into circles of about 8 cm. Place a dollop of jam on top and roll into croissants. Place on a baking sheet and bake immediately at 200 degrees Celsius. Roll the warm croissants in vanilla icing sugar.
