Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 rolls, old
  • ¼ liter milk, hot
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 bag(s) of yeast (dry yeast)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 10 minutes

Soak the rolls in hot milk. Combine the flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl and mix well. Add the eggs and the softened rolls with the warm milk and knead well. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 2 hours. Then add it to plenty of boiling salted water and cook in a covered pot for 30 minutes. IMPORTANT: PLEASE DO NOT STARE INTO THE POT. Then slice the dumplings with the string.
