Bolognese sauce with pasta

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g minced pork for roasting
  • 1 onion(s), chopped
  • 1 ½ carrot(s), finely chopped
  • 1 handful of peppercorns
  • pepper
  • Salt
  • n. B. Lovage
  • 3 tsp beef broth
  • 1 can of tomatoes
  • 1 small can of tomato paste
  • olive oil
  • n. B. Thyme
  • e.g. oregano
  • Paprika powder
  • 1 cup water
  • 300 g pasta of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Brown the ground beef with the chopped onions and carrots in hot olive oil. Then add the can of tomatoes, a small can of tomato paste, and a cup of water with 3 teaspoons of beef broth. Add a small handful of peppercorns and a little each of salt, pepper, and paprika (you can add more garlic, dried chili, or red wine if desired). Let the whole thing simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes (tip: set a timer for 15 minutes and then cook the pasta). In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Finally, season the sauce with lovage, oregano, and thyme (or basil or other Italian spices if desired) and pour over the pasta. Then arrange portions on plates and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
