Cover the clay pot tightly, sealing if necessary, bring to a boil on the stovetop, and then cook in the oven for 2-3 hours. Bosnian clay pot is served in the same container in which it was cooked. It is a medieval dish of Bosnian miners who worked hard for 12 hours, and each would bring a pot with their name on it and place it by the fire, where it would crumble and wait for them for several hours. It was a dish that was easy to prepare, but when prepared in larger quantities in a large clay pot, it had the best flavor.
